Farm building.
Myself and M. Claude Samson [ left ] - current Owner of the Farm
at the summit. [ below ] His father was the owner at the time of the
battle. M. Samson generously allowed me access to inspect the whole
battle area. As a young lad he grew up
on the farm & was able to accurately
point out the position of the MG nests
and the 2 x 75mm field guns that were
positioned there. I am deeply indebted
to M. Samson, Mme. Decriaud
[ current owner of the small house at
“Les Fermes”] and her friend -
M. J-P Fangeat, who gave up their
Sunday morning to show me around - Merci bien, mes amis.
